Mission: Promote a culture of giving back to dynamically enhance alumni connectivity and impact through strategic execution of holistic events and philanthropic opportunities, encompassing time, knowledge, and financial resources to empower the Leeds community
Responsibilities:
- Be the go-to committee for ad-hoc opportunities that promote philanthropy, a culture of giving (time, knowledge, resources), deeper engagement, and a more interconnected community of alumni
- Pursue targeted strategic events or initiatives that support annual board and office of advancement goals
- Lead initiatives to encourage alumni to contribute their expertise, time, and financial resources, emphasizing the diverse ways to give back to Leeds
- Help support and promote the "Buffs All In" giving day and develop engaging campaigns to boost alumni participation in philanthropic efforts, aiming for a widespread and meaningful impact across the alumni networkÌý
Mission: Strengthen connections among young alumni, fostering a vibrant, engaged community
Responsibilities:
- Co-host regional alumni gatherings and social events, including a signature annual event
- Implement targeted outreach programs to engage inactive alumni and convert them into active community members, utilizing personalized communications and engagement opportunities that showcase the value and benefits of active involvement
- Implement initiatives that encourage young alumni to become ambassadors for Leeds, promoting its values and opportunities within their networks
- Drive attendance to aligned/appropriate ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ and Leeds events
- Bring attention to various pride points and social posts within the ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder network
- Create and foster new initiatives to develop a consistent and lifelong connection between young alumni and the Leeds School of Business
- Develop and maintain a relationship with ForeverBuffs and the ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Alumni Association
Mission: Bridge the gap between alumni and current students, enhancing the Leeds experience and fostering young alumni involvement at Leeds
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate engagement opportunities like alumni panels, workshops, and social media takeovers to connect students with alumni
- Co-facilitate Senior Celebration events to transition graduating students into active alumni
- Support mentorship; where alumni can guide current students and young alumni, providing career advice, industry insights, and personal development coaching
- Engage alumni to support the transition of current students from academia to career
- Promote and facilitate alumni interaction during campus events, ensuring students recognize the value of the Leeds network post-graduationÌý
Mission: Forge strong cross-disciplinary connections between Leeds and the College of Engineering and Applied Science alumni and current students
Responsibilities:
- Plan and host joint events aimed at exploring intersections between business and engineering, such as panels and hackathons
- Collaborate with the CEAS GOLD Board to integrate business perspectives into engineering topics and vice versa
- Engage with student groups and faculty to create targeted, discipline-specific events that cater to an interested audience
- Drive interest and participation within engineering and business co-hosted alumni eventsÌý
Mission: Strengthen the culture of the GOLD Board and university by recruiting and engaging board members, prospective board members, and future Buffs alike
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Leeds/¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Admissions to support recruitment efforts through alumni testimonials, participation in Q&A sessions, and outreach to prospective students
- Develop strategies and events aimed at Collaborate with Leeds Admissions to host informational sessions and virtual meetups for prospective students
- Foster camaraderie within the GOLD Board and continuously work to improve the membership experience, ensuring an inclusive and diverse environment of Leeds alumni
- Become the go-to place for providing resources to members for whatever they may need help within life, work, or the functions of the boardÌý
Leadership Roles
The Executive Chair provides visionary leadership and strategic direction to the board, guiding the organization in achieving its mission and objectives. This volunteer position oversees board operations, fosters collaboration among board members and Leeds, and represents the organization to external stakeholders.

- Cultivate relationships with external stakeholders, including donors, partners, and alumni, to advance the organization's mission and goals
