Leeds' MBA Programs Rise in New 2021 U.S. News & World Report Rankings
Leeds' Full-Time and Evening MBA Programs both moved up the ranks in rankings, which were released today.
The Full-Time MBA rose to the number 70 spot among all business schools nationwide—up by 9 positions from 2020’s rankings—and to number 41 from 46 among U.S. public business schools. The Part-Time MBA program ranks number 26 among public business schools nationwide and 39 among U.S. business schools overall, improving by 5 positions from 44 last year.
This steady climb can be attributed, in part, to the incredible progress the Leeds School has experienced under the leadership of Dean Sharon Matusik—the school’s first woman dean—and the contributions of the school’s world-class faculty and extraordinary staff, local business leaders and alumni.
“I am thrilled by the momentum the Leeds School has generated in such a short period of time. Our dedicated, world-class faculty and staff partnering with our highly engaged, forward-looking business and alumni community to inspire and educate the next generation are what makes us a top business school.”
Leeds continues to rank as the top business school in the state of Colorado, and the MBA programs are a substantial factor in the school’s success. In 2019, the school transformed its Full-Time MBA curriculum to align better with evolving industry demands and created three specified pathways for MBA students in High-Growth Ventures, Natural and Organic and Real Estate sectors. These pathways help MBAs develop specialized skills in those industries through a recommended combination of courses and co-curricular programs, which ultimately chart a roadmap toward an MBA’s ultimate career.
In addition, Leeds has made similar adjustments to revamp its Evening MBA curriculum, including a piloting hybrid courses last fall to give working students additional flexibility in their studies.
Factor in Leeds’ 5-year record of 90%+ job placement and unparalleled access to Boulder’s renowned business community, and it’s clear that Leeds has an unprecedented vantage point—and we’re not talking about the beautiful scenery.
