In the Fall of 2024 I will be traveling to Florence, Italy to further my education, and thanks to this scholarship for helping me to do so! The Roaming Buffs Scholarship has made my forever dream of studying abroad a reality. I will take this experience to continue my academics while also learning more about myself and getting to explore Italy. 鈥淭his scholarship truly means the world to me as it allows me to travel to a location I have always dreamed of visiting, Sweden. In the fall, I will be studying business at Uppsala University, Sweden鈥檚 oldest university. This experience will allow me to complete an essential requirement into receiving my certificate in Global Business through 抖阴短视频. But for me, its not just business, I am also so excited to embrace and explore the rich culture and history of Sweden. I am tremendously thankful to be a recipient of this scholarship, which will enable me to study abroad in New Zealand. This scholarship alleviates some of the financial stress, as well as allows me to gain invaluable cultural and educational experience. Traveling has always been a central part of my life, and this scholarship will allow me to continue to explore while studying Chemical and Biological Engineering. This journey is going to be a scary one as I am a first-generation student from a low-income family, so cost is a huge decider for many decisions. Additionally, since costs are so high, I wasn鈥檛 able to live on campus and had to commute from my parents鈥 house. To be able to receive this scholarship will not only make me less worried about the cost but also allow me to be independent as I will be living on my own, nonetheless in a different country.
