Application cycle for 2024-25 is now complete

The Uplift Research Training Program is designed for undergraduate students who have never been exposed to research.

 

Program Structure

8-Week Shadowing Period

Uplift Students will spend their first 8 weeks in a lab studying techniques, data analysis, relevant literature, and scientific communication with the guidance of their lab mentor. Students are compensated a $800 stipend for 3–6 hours of work per week.

16-Week Guided Research Period

Participants are expected to conduct their own research either on an independent project or in support of their lab mentor's project. Uplift Students are compensated with a $2200 stipend for 6–9 hours of research per week for 16 weeks.

Week of 9/30-10/4 Acceptance and match emails sent, Interview week & orientation
