We want to help you do research.

Undergraduate Research Training Program

Application cycle for 2024-25 is now complete

Did not receive an acceptance email?

Thank you all for taking the time to apply to Uplift. All student acceptances have been emailed. We had 206 applications and could only accept 15 students into the program this year. Very tough decisions had to be made. Do not let this discourage you from finding other research opportunities. Remember, our Uplift workshops are open to any undergraduate student. Refer to the upcoming events page for a workshop schedule that will be posted in the next few days.

Do you want to do research?

Info Session & Application Tips

DATE: Sepmtember 12th, 2024

LOCATION: Porter B121

TIME: 5-6pm

Many students have a lot of questions about Uplift and how to stand out as a candidate. In fact, developing an application for Uplift also helps you create a personal narrative that you can use in building your LinkedIn profile, writing cover letters for future opportunities, or practicing your interview skills. It's difficult to recognize what fits into your story (especially this early in your professional career)! For this reason, we've invited Evan Ferg from the Career Center to host a workshop to support you in crafting your personal story for the Uplift application and beyond!
