• Remain in full-time standing (12 credit hour minimum) every semester. Any exception will need administrative approval.

• Achieve and maintain a minimum overall 3.0 GPA. If you do not maintain that GPA in each semester, you will be asked to develop an academic plan with your MASP faculty mentor and your scholarship may not be guaranteed.
• Conduct significant research or academic enrichment project while a ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ student. (For example: an honors thesis, internship, study abroad, civic engagement project, laboratory experience or another project/program of equivalent scholarly rigor.)

• Meet with your MASP faculty mentor each semester to evaluate your academic plans, report your academic progress and discuss ways to contribute to MASP.
• ​Take a MASP seminar for four semesters (generally in your 1st and 2nd years).
• Attend MASP mandatory welcome back/end of semester events.
• Attend an additional 3 MASP-sponsored events each semester.
• Use the MASP office effectively at least 3 times per week, since a vibrant community cannot exist without the active engagement of its members.
• Using the MASP office effectively includes meeting with mentors or instructors, studying individually or with a group, working on assignments, etc.
• Contribute to the general welfare of MASP and assist others in their learning experiences as you strive for your own academic excellence.*

*Taking on active leadership or mentoring roles (such as planning events, tutoring, outreach, etc.) are important modes of community participation, particularly in your junior and senior year. With director approval, such activities might be undertaken in lieu of or to augment other forms of participation.
