- ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder’s Theresa Hernández will become the first director of Athletics’ Crawford Family WHOLE Student-Athlete Program, a nationally recognized initiative, effective Aug. 1.
- Lori Hunter has been named director of the Institute of Behavioral Science, which applies leading-edge social and behavioral science to inform and influence policies and actions with a national and international impact.
- Provost Russell Moore named Keith Molenaar dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Molenaar has been acting dean since the departure of former dean Bobby Braun in 2020.
- The Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) has appointed Frank Eparvier as its new associate director for science. His new role will start on July 1.
- Chadd Medina has been named director of university risk management Boulder campus operations following Carolyn Peet’s recent retirement. His new role became effective June 1.
- Eberle will begin serving as interim director of the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History effective July 1. She has been with the museum for 20 years, including a previous stint as interim director.
- After nearly three decades, Professor Jana Milford is set to retire in August. Milford has held many titles, from Department of Mechanical Engineering chair and director of the Environmental Engineering Program to founding faculty advisor for the Engineering GoldShirt Program.
- Anyone who has spent time in the Idea Forge has come to know Shirley Chessman. After working as the Idea Forge mechanical lab engineer for the past seven years, Chessman is retiring this summer.
- Effective July 1, Professor Yonca Ertimur will be the acting dean of the Leeds School of Business. She will succeed Sharon Matusik.
- Dean Sharon Matusik of the Leeds School of Business has accepted a dean position at the University of Michigan. Her final day at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder will be June 30.
