After a national search, George Hatcher III has been named the new executive director for industry and foundation relations.
Millar joins the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics after three decades with NASA. The new deputy director position was created to enable growth by strategically identifying and implementing new space research opportunities.
Jennifer McDuffie, who has worked at the university since 2007, has been named interim associate vice chancellor for enrollment management. She will also maintain her duties as Strategic Resources and Support chief of staff.
Effective Nov. 1, Scott Battle will be the dean of Continuing Education and vice provost. Battle has been serving as acting dean and vice provost since January.
The College of Arts and Sciences has named history Professor Tom Zeiler as interim director, effective immediately, to carry the Center of the American West into the future.
Robyn Fergus, newly named ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder’s chief people officer, currently serves as vice president and chief human resources officer at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. She replaces Merna Jacobsen, who has led in an interim capacity since 2021.
As of Sept.1, Holly Gates-Meyer is serving as the interim assistant vice chancellor for environmental health and safety.
Todd Haggerty, newly named ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder's chief financial officer, serves in the same role at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Denver and will replace Carla Ho’a. Ho'a has been in the position since 2019 and earlier this year announced plans to retire.
Leaving behind a legacy of progress, Dyonne Bergeron, acting vice provost and associate vice chancellor for diversity, equity and inclusion, is stepping away from her role at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder. The move will be effective Aug. 31.
Kevin MacLennan, associate vice chancellor of enrollment management, will be retiring from the university after nearly 30 years of service, effective Sept. 1.
