University of Colorado Boulder Senior Vice Chancellor and Chief Financial Officer Kelly Fox has named David Kang as vice chancellor for infrastructure and safety, effective May 16. Kang replaces Larry Levine, who filled the position on an interim basis after Steve Thweatt retired in mid-October.

At its regular meeting on Thursday and Friday at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, the University of Colorado Board of Regents heard tuition proposals for the 2016-17 academic year, approved changes to ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ-Boulder academic programs, approved new contracts for ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ-Boulder head coaches and more.

¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ-Boulder Today sat down with Senior Vice Chancellor and CFO Kelly Fox to discuss the campus’s request to the Board of Regents for a final $6.3 million in additional funding needed to complete renovations and expansions of Folsom Field, which was approved today.

On Friday afternoon, the University of Colorado Board of Regents heard a proposal for a new tuition plan for ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ-Boulder, which offers resident students a fixed tuition guarantee for four years from the date that they matriculate. ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ-Boulder Today sat down with Chancellor Philip P. DiStefano to discuss these proposed changes and what they mean for students.
