RES's HR LiaisonÌýis Sandra Grover. HR Liaisons play a key role in communicating information between our department and Human Resources. HR LiaisonsÌýperform transactional and professional HR functions and serve as the HR point person for RES. Sandra supports our officeÌýin the following ways.
Hiring
HR LiaisonsÌýfacilitate the hiring process from start to finish and should be notified as soon as a position is being initiated. The hiring process includes and should involve our HR LiaisonÌýdirectly with:
- Creating or updating positions and approvals
- Coordinating with the HR Recruiter to post positions
- Scheduling of interviews
- Final selection and a verbal offer
- Background check and offer letter
- Employee set-up
- Onboarding
Onboarding new employees
Our HR LiaisonÌýmaintainaÌýRES's onboarding program for new employees. They interface with supervisors and the new employee to ensure that the onboarding experience is welcoming and thorough.Ìý
Performance Reviews & Planning
¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder has an annual performance management cycle that includes performance reviews and performance planning sessions between employees and their supervisors. RES's HR LiaisonÌýprovidesÌýreminders to staff throughout those cycles to ensure that the paperwork required is completed and provided to Human Resources within the designated timeframes.

Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is a form of job protection that runs concurrently with all applicable forms of paid and unpaid leave. There areÌýspecific forms required and available on the Human Resources website.Ìý
