University of Colorado Boulder offers a range of student services and resources. As a MENV student you have access to these services and more. ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS)
*Students who have paid the mental health fee
Services: confidential, on-campus mental health & psychiatric services for a variety of concerns such as academics, anxiety, body image, depression, relationships, substance use, and more.

Israel-Hamas war: Campus resources, insights and more
The university has reached out directly to members of the community who are likely to be closely impacted. If students, faculty or staff need further assistance, there are many support and counseling services available year-round on campus.
Medical Services/Wardenburg Health Center
Services: COVID-19 testing, primary care, sexual and reproductive health, lab services, physical therapy, shot/vaccinations, and more.
Process Therapy Groups
Services: These confidential groups are contained settings where students can speak on and get support for a variety of topics. There is a focus on the interactions among group members as they give each other feedback on interpersonal styles and identify ways in which they feel more connected to one another. All groups are free for ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ students and are currently being conducted remotely through telehealth.
Collegiate Recovery Center (¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵCRC)
Services: community, support and connection for students, faculty and staff in recovery or seeking recovery from a wide range of behaviors.
Disability Services
Services: testing accommodations, note-taking accommodations, flexibility with attendance and assignment deadline plans, communication/interpretation services, service animals, and more.
Office of Victim Assistance
Services: free and confidential information, consultation, support, advocacy and short term counseling services to those who have experienced a traumatic, disturbing or life disruptive event.
Ombuds Office
Services: a place to surface, voice, clarify and discuss university-related issues. This office helps people identify options to resolve disputes, to determine a course of action and to aid in the informal resolution of conflicts and concerns.
Student Support and Case Management (SSCM)
Services: helps student identify issues and appropriate resources and works collaboratively with them to develop an action plan.
LGBTQ+ Resources
Services: help students, staff and faculty with transitioning, finding LGBTQ+ events and community, finding LGBTQ+ knowledgeable support professionals, coming out to family, and friends, finding opportunities for leadership, finding housing, and much more!
Basic Needs Center
Services: a one-stop student support service for students seeking assistance for their essential needs. The center provides equitable access to basic needs for students during their time at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder, as well as helps them develop the skills needed to navigate local and national emergency needs services. This center includes food resources (the Buff Pantry) and housing resources.
Services: helps low-income households in Colorado purchase food. It provides a monthly benefit that helps families and individuals buy the food they need for good health.
Health Insurance
Those taking one (1) or more graduate credit hours are required to complete the health insurance requirement process. If you do not take action to waive or enroll by the deadline, you will be automatically enrolled in the ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Gold SHIP and responsible for the insurance charge. There will be no refunds granted following the deadline.
