Office of Victim Assistance

The office offers free confidential information, support, advocacy, and short-term counseling to students, faculty and staff at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ, including their significant others.  OVA is a separate office, not connected to the police department.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) 


This center offers free, confidential counseling and psychological help for students and faculty. If you would like to discuss concerns about a ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ student that cannot wait until business hours, call them at (303) 492-6766 and press 2 to speak to a mental health professional. 

Center for Inclusion and Social Change


The vision of CISC is to provide high-impact, transformational community-building and educational programs to the ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder community, and to nurture leaders grounded in the core concepts of intersectional identity development, diversity, equity and social justice. Operating under the auspices of CISC are numerous resources for ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ community members. These include programs for: LGBTQ students, students of color, undocumented students, and women and femmes. 

¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Dean of Students 


If you have urgent concerns about a student being a danger to themselves or others, contact CAPS as well as the Dean of Students. Similarly, if you are an instructor and have a problem with a particular student's repeated behavior issues, the Dean of Students will assist. 

 


This is the facility where students with special needs (including issues arising from a recent injury) are certified to receive accommodations, and where you as instructors can call to confirm or clarify accommodations that students are requesting. Keep in mind that this is not a diagnostic facility; getting certified for a disability requires submission of documentation of a diagnosis. Disability Service counselors can assist you in this process.
