Interviewing Strategies: How to Ask Effective Questions, Evaluate Answers, and Make Outstanding Hires
Course Description
The purpose of Interviewing Strategies is to provide ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder staff, faculty, hiring managers, and hiring committees with the skills needed to interview candidates effectively and equitably. Interviewing Strategies will provide a foundation for conducting an inclusive interview process, creating a positive candidate experience and hiring the best talent for the ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder community. This course strives to support our campus community in hiring successful employees and remaining an employer of choice in a competitive market.
Learning Outcomes
After attending the Interviewing Strategies training session, participants will be able to:
- Effectively prepare for the interview and organize related components of the interview process
- Develop and ask effective interview questions
- Appropriately evaluate candidate answers
- Create a positive candidate experience
