Before Classes Begin

After you have accepted your offer of admission to Ƶ Engineering, please make sure you do the following:

As this is our official form of communication, you should set up your Ƶ Email and your Information as soon as possible.
Make sure all transfer credit is received by sending the most recent version of your transcripts to the Office of Admissions. If it is not, please email:Tchelp@colorado.edu
Look at your Degree Audit and make sure your transfer credits are accounted for and posted. The way to see this is in the “Transfer Evaluations” tab of your audit - you can see how the credit has come into Ƶ Boulder.
  • If you see an “SY” designation next to any coursework, you must contact the Office of Admissions at Tchelp@colorado.edu to send a syllabus so the course can be further reviewed.
  • Also contact admissions if you notice any transfer credit is missing.
  • Next, run a degree audit to see how your transfer credit applies to your degree.
  • Look at your Degree Audit and make sure your transfer credits are accounted for and posted. The way to see this is in the “Transfer Evaluations” tab of your audit - you can see how the credit has come into Ƶ Boulder.
The online experience helps you to learn the Ƶ Boulder course registration system and we ask that you look at the Engineering Advising and Enrolling in Courses modules and quizzes for more detailed information.
Contact your advisor with any questions you may have about your transfer credits, or degree planning. If you are still enrolled in any classes at another institution, please let your advisor know, so we can best advise you.
To ensure you are the most prepared you can be for an engineering degree, any student with transfer credit in math is strongly encouraged to check their understanding of Calculus using our Applied Math Archived Exams. Ask your advisor if you have any questions regarding math recommendations.
Attend a transfer student orientation! This information will be sent to you by the New Student and Family Programs office.
