It's Time to Say Goodbye to the Triceratops Skull at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ!

After 41 years, we’re waving a fond farewell to the Triceratops skull within Paleontology Hall. This charismatic ceratopsian from the Cretaceous period has looong been a favorite at the ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Museum of Natural History while on loan from the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. Be sure to stop by before May 8 to say hello for the first time or, to say a goodbye—before it’s too late!

The centerpiece of the Paleontology Hall at the University of Colorado Boulder Museum of Natural History will be dismantled, packed and shipped back to the Smithsonian Institution. Visitors can see the fossilized skull for free until May 8, 2022.
