Support our students in D.C.

CMCI in D.C. creates life-changing moments for students, whose experiences living, working and studying in the nation’s capital become jumping-off points for invaluable networks and incredible professional experience.

A guaranteed internship, plus the ability to take CMCI courses—and not have to transfer credits from another university—makes this a practical option for students who want the flexibility of completing the program at a convenient time and with work experience unavailable through traditional study abroad programs.

And a D.C. experience can be incredibly impactful. When Heidi Wagner took an internship in Washington as a journalism student, it showed her a side of public policy and advocacy that ended up defining her career. Now, she provides philanthropic support to CMCI in D.C. to give current and future students that same opportunity.

“That internship changed the trajectory of my life,” said Wagner, now a senior vice president at ElevateBio. “It’s really important to expose yourself to other things, because you just don’t know what’s out there.” Why Heidi supports CMCI in D.C. →
