Are you a sophomore or junior with at least four semesters of college left?
Or are you a senior who is considering grad school?
If you fall into either of these categories and have not taken all four semesters of the ROTC “Basic Course”, Basic Camp could be just what you are looking for!
Basic Camp is a 4-week summer course at Fort Knox, KY. Attendance at Basic Camp will get you “caught-up” on what you missed by not taking all (or any) of the ROTC “Basic Course” classes and make you eligible to begin the ROTC Advanced Course as a junior or grad school student. If you have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, you are also eligible to compete for a 2-Year Scholarship that will take affect when you begin school in the fall.
Contact the Military Science Department for more information.
As an Army ROTC Cadet you are eligible to compete for slots to attend an Army Specialty School (subject to specialty school availability).
Specialty schools that the Army ROTC Cadets typically have an opportunity to attend are:
- Airborne School
- Air Assault School
- Northern Warfare School
