- College of Arts and Sciences students must determine whether to continue working toward the old "core curriculum" requirements or switch to the new general education curriculum, effective in August.
- Replacing the core curriculum, the new general education curriculum will take effect in August. The change primarily affects students in Arts and Sciences but also those in other units.
- With proposals due Feb. 26, the CAS is offering awards for the creation or revision of an undergraduate course on Southeast Asia, as well as its course-development grants on Culture and Language Across the Curriculum, which can involve any Asian language.
