Dear staff and faculty,
We’re writing to request your participation in ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder’s 2023 Faculty and Staff Engagement Survey to help inform our ongoing efforts to improve the campus experience for all faculty and staff. The survey will be open April 10-21.
Why:
Employee recruitment, retention and overall well-being are major priorities for our university. The engagement survey helps us gauge how we are doing. Previous surveys were conducted in 2017 and 2020. The anonymous insights you provide will help us better understand what is and isn’t working, and they will inform initiatives and strategies we employ going forward. Because this will be the first time that we’ve administered a survey of this type since the pandemic, this information will help us to more fully understand and respond to a changed working environment. We’re committed to using the results to grow upon the successes that we identify and address the opportunities where we must improve.
Taking the survey:
- Dates: April 10-21
- Time commitment: 10 minutes
- How to take it: Online survey via phone, tablet or computer.
- You will receive an email on Monday, April 10 from Arthur J. Gallagher and Co. email address, admin@ajgsurveys.com. The email will include a link specific to you for taking the survey.
- No personal identification: The survey is completely anonymous.

- This survey is separate from the Campus Culture Survey conducted in 2021 yet will be complementary and in some instances give us updated data to track progress.
- The survey will measure concepts like wellness, job satisfaction, commitment, affinity, career growth, teamwork, progress and communication on institutional priorities, and others.

The survey is important to us as leaders and to ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder’s development as a desirable place to work, teach and conduct research, and its success is contingent on high response rates. Thank you in advance for your participation and all you do for our students and our university.
Sincerely,
Russ and Pat
