This Thursday, Nov. 3, Boulder Campus Staff Council and Ƶ Student Government will host a town hall debate on Amendment 69, also known as ColoradoCare. The debate will be held from 5 to 6:15 p.m. in the Abrams Lounge in the Center for Community (C4C). Ron Vejrostek, a spokesperson for ColoradoCare, and Michael Cooke, campaign manager for Coloradans for Coloradans (a group opposed to Amendment 69), will debate the amendment and its impact on Colorado residents. A question-and-answer session will follow.

Postponed until December: Chris Moody, VP of Data Strategy at Twitter, joins the CWA Speaker Series on Thursday, Nov. 3, at 6:30 p.m. in Old Main. Moody is considered a pioneer in the social data industry and has worked closely with leading social platforms such as Twitter, Tumblr, Foursquare, WordPress, Disqus and more to formulate and execute their data strategies.

CWA kicks off new speaker series Thursday

This semester, the CWA Speaker Series will host two talks on the Ƶ Boulder campus. The first will feature Daniel Traub, NYC-based filmmaker and photographer on Oct. 27. Then on Nov. 3, the CWA will host Vice President of Data Strategy for Twitter Chris Moody. Both events are free and open to students and the community.
