Some of the campus's most dynamic faculty members will address topics ranging from animal evolution to wrongful convictions, Mayan life and Chinese and American views on the media during this semester's ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ on the Weekend, a free lecture series.
Laverne Cox, an Emmy-nominated actress best known for her role in the Netflix series "Orange is The New Black," will speak at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder’s Macky Auditorium on Jan. 25. The speech is co-hosted by the university’s student-run Cultural Events Board and Distinguished Speakers Board.
The Program in Jewish Studies and William A. Wise Law Library will honor International Holocaust Remembrance Day with a lecture by Professor Nils Roemer and the highly acclaimed international exhibit "Lawyers Without Rights: Jewish Lawyers in Germany Under the Third Reich."
The next Engaged Scientist Series lecture and workshop, open to graduate students and post-doctoral researchers, will focus on "Uses and Practices of Community Dialogue in Geosciences and Environmental Sciences."
Bringing together a community's vision and enhancing a neighborhood through design is no small task. But with this aim, and working with the city, ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder students have tried their hand at such a project and will present their work to the public at eTown Hall.

¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder's Program in Jewish Studies and the Boulder Public Library are hosting an event on the late Elie Wiesel, featuring a lecture and special presentation, at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at the Boulder Public Library.
