The Hazel Gates Woodruff Cottage, an historical landmark on the ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ-Boulder campus, is open this fall after a renovation that restores the buildingÂ’s place in time. The Cottage, formerly known as the WomenÂ’s Studies Cottage No. 1, was built in 1885 to house the first womenÂ’s dormitory on campus. It originally provided dining facilities for 100, sleeping rooms for 12, a bath and an office for the chaperone on the first floor.
