The Colorado Shakespeare Festival is branching out in its efforts to curb bullying among young people in Colorado schools. Beyond visiting schools with its "upstander" message, the festival - in partnership with the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence, also based at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder - has created an educational video with an important message: you have the choice to make your world a safer place.

When Daphne Virlar-Knight (EBio’17) graduates in May, she will have spent four years with The Herd, one of ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder’s largest student groups on campus. The group coordinates several university traditions including the Nearly Naked Mile — the largest student clothing drive at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ, the St. Baldrick’s Day fundraiser for youth cancer survivors, professional development workshops and football tailgates.
