Permanent faculty, staff and graduate students on appointment now have access to an added back-up child, adult and elder care benefit through ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ's existing Bright Horizons partnership.

¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder was recently awarded a $3.1 million grant to help students finish their studies. The grant, provided by the Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative, funds a program that helps Colorado residents economically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic return to school to earn their degrees by 2025.

The ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Board of Regents recently announced the latest slate of recipients of honorary degrees, distinguished service medals and university medals. The ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder affiliates––Juan Espinosa, Linda Hogan, Ryan Haygood and Michael Leeds will be part of a private ceremony on May 4.

On March 14, great minds met to create the next innovation for this year's cross-campus student ventures. Made up of team members from multiple ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder academic areas, multi-disciplinary success rang true at the New Venture Challenge cross-campus collaboration prize night.

¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder’s precollege programming and high-impact physics research and education will receive additional funding as part of the recently passed $1.5 trillion federal appropriations omnibus bill for the 2022 fiscal year.

The ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder Police Department is answering the call for protective gear for Ukraine’s frontline citizen soldiers, donating body armor to protect lives.

Adam Kowalski is the 2022 Karen Harvey Prize recipient in recognition of his transformative research into stellar flares and their influence on the Sun, other stars and habitability of exoplanets.
