Class of 2020 invited to join livestreamed May commencement, return in person in spring 2021

¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder will invite its spring 2020 graduates to partake in a livestreamed commencement ceremony on May 16. Chancellor Philip P. DiStefano is also inviting the graduates to return to campus in May 2021 for special events in recognition of their years of hard work.

Graduate School extends deadlines for May 2020 graduation

In light of the current situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Graduate School is extending the graduation deadlines for doctoral and master’s students planning to have their degrees awarded in May 2020. These extensions will provide extra time needed to schedule defenses, doctoral and master’s final examinations, and to submit theses and dissertations.

The spring 2020 deadline for the last day to drop a class (with a W) has been extended to the last day of classes—April 30 for full semester classes—and will be prorated for special session classes.
