Provost Russell Moore has made the interim appointment of Akirah Bradley as vice chancellor of student affairs, effective Jan. 13. Her appointment follows Christina Gonzales' leadership of the division.

Philip DiStefano has appointed ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ system Vice President, University Counsel and Secretary of the Board of Regents Patrick O’Rourke interim executive vice chancellor and chief operating officer beginning Feb. 20.

Carla Ho-a, who was ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder’s deputy chief financial officer, was named chief financial officer this week.

At its November meeting, the ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ regents authorized a ground lease and developer for ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder’s new conference center and hotel, received a ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ system strategic plan update, discussed the civics initiative and more.

Dean of the Graduate School Scott Adler has named Tiffany Beechy program coordinator of the PhD Consortium of Literatures and Cultures effective Nov. 1.

Students were the focus of the annual State of the Campus address that, this year, included discussion of a recent racist incident on campus in addition to support services and safety.

As ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s strategic planning process officially kicked off, Mark Kennedy visited the Boulder campus to address faculty and answer questions.

At its regular meeting, the ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Board of Regents heard preliminary enrollment numbers for the four campuses; received an update on the ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ system strategic plan, awarded four ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder faculty members the appointment of distinguished professor and more.

¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ will play Colorado State University in football Friday night. While they are rivals on the football field, ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ and CSU are partners in many academic and research endeavors.

Chancellor Phil DiStefano announced today that he has promoted Kelly Fox to executive vice chancellor and chief operating officer for ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder.
