Statement on ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵSG Inspire ticket
We recognize that changes to the Inspire tri-executive ticket for the 2022 ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Student Government (¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵSG) elections have created some questions for students.
The change was made because one student was not an eligible candidate for office per the requirements in the ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵSG Election Code. The election code is drafted and adopted by ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵSG. Federal privacy laws prevent us from discussing further details.
We know that students pour many hours into running for ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵSG positions, and the students who volunteer to lead their fellow students care deeply about the student body as a whole. We understand that the commitment and effort it takes to prepare for elections will make this disappointing for the students who support the Inspire ticket.
As elections proceed, ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder looks forward to a new group of elected students who will continue to preserve ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵSG’s important mission on campus.
