Friday, Nov. 8
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Norlin Quad
Get ready for the Homecoming game! This exciting new Herd event will feature free food for Herd members, lawn games, prizes and more. Herd members also get a free Homecoming T-shirt when they show their membership card on the app.
1 p.m. Folsom Field, Gate 5
The run begins Fridaystarting at 1300 and goes through to the start of the Ƶ vs. Stanford game on Saturdayat 1300. This is an annual event held out of respect for those who have gone missing or been captured, open to civilians and all branches.;it is important that every 30-minute shift is covered by at least threepeople.
Ƶ on Friday: Fall festivities

Join in on this UMC tradition! Make your own leaf lanterns while enjoying free caramel apples, hot apple cider, chili and corn chips.
6 p.m. Rec Center, lower gym
Watch more than 10 diverse and different performances of various campus organizations and individual students in a competition for a trophy prize at the first annual StepUp Ƶ dance competition. Food will be provided, and there will be a dance party afterward.

Celebrate your Ƶ spirit with students, alumni and the community as we paint Pearl Street black and gold! Stop by the Alumni Association spirit tent across from the Boulder Courthouse Lawn starting at 6:30 p.m. to grab a free pom-pom to cheer on the students, athletes and marching band during the parade.

Get ready to cheer on the Buffs against Stanford at the official Ƶ tailgate. All are welcome at this family-friendly event featuring concession-style food and drink. Get there early to see Ralphie up close, plus the Ƶ Marching Band and Spirit Squad!
Play Therapy starring actors of all ability levels
2 p.m., 7:30 p.m. University Theatre, Acting Studio
Starring special needs actors whose unique abilities make them perfect fits for their roles,Play Therapyfollows a non-verbal child named Evyn who finds new meaning and ways of communicating through play therapy—a method of therapy that incorporates structured play. “We are held together, like the stars in the firmament, with ties inseparable. These ties cannot be seen, but we can feel them.” Inspired by Nikola Tesla's words, the Tesla Quartet seeks to make music the binding force that unites audiences with colorful and intimate renditions of both new and established repertoire. Tickets start at $20. There is a second performance Monday night, as well.
