Macky Auditorium full house

The second annual at Ƶ Boulder's Macky Auditorium will feature an afternoon general admission event and the main evening acoustic set, both featuringJim James of My Morning Jacket and several other prominent artists. The two events are ticketed separately, though day passes are available.

Strings & Stories afternoon event

A one-of-a-kind, intimate musical experience, the Strings & Stories afternoon event will feature world-class musicians Jim James, Gregory Alan Isakov, Langhorn Slim and Daniel Rodriguez, each playing a few songs from their catalog and telling the stories of how those songs came to light.

Doors open at 1:30 p.m., with performances from 2 to 4:30 p.m.No alcohol will be served.

Main evening event

James and Langhorne Slim headline an all-star lineup for the festival's evening show with solo, acoustic performances.

“I am looking forward to exploring all sorts of songs stripped down as they first occurred in their natural habitat—just voice and guitar. Although I have played many shows by myself, this will be my first tour of this style, and I am excited to see everyone out on the open road,” says James.

The evening lineup also will featureNeyla Pekarek (formerly of The Lumineers), Ben Sollee, Sun Jr. and Jonny Miller.Doors open at 6 p.m. Performances start at 6:30 p.m., with James headlining at 11 p.m.

Ticketing and more

are entirely general admission at $29. are assigned seats and range from $35 to $85.Please note if you ,you will pick up your evening ticket during the afternoon event at the Future Arts Foundation table in the lobby.

There will be a silent auction featuring donated, signed memorabilia from bands and musiciansincluding Wilco, The National, Greensky Bluegrass, The Lumineers, Phishand more. The festival benefits the Future Arts Foundation 501(c)3.
