Ƶ Boulder’s Outdoor Program is excited to announce the launch of a new course as part of their Challenge Course Experience. While the program is best known for its high-flying outdoor course, the program has recently expanded to include a brand new Challenge Experience at The Rec.

Groups are guided through the course by experienced facilitators who use a variety of low-to-the-ground elements that will challenge even the strongest of teams. Through a variety of games, puzzles and relays, groups work together to build greater cohesion and increase productivity while exploring new techniques for effective leadership and interpersonal skills.

While the course may seem like all fun and games, it offers real-life takeaways. This sentiment was shared by participants from across university departments during the course’s grand opening on Friday, Nov. 30.

“Challenge Experience at The Rec is a fun way to help teams and individuals enhance their professional and personal contributions,” shared Nicole LaRocque, assistant director of Recreation Programs. She has seen the success of the Challenge Program first hand, as teams have shared how the program helped to strengthen their professional relationships and boost comradery.

The Challenge Experience at The Rec is open to groups of 10 to 100, including staff and faculty, university departments and student organizations. For additional information, visit the or contact challenge@colorado.edu.
