On Friday, Nov. 16, the that had been committed overnight in the Goss Grove neighborhood, just north of campus. This neighborhood runs roughly from Broadway to 28thÌýStreet and from Arapahoe Avenue to Canyon Boulevard.

On Nov. 16, shortly after 3 a.m., Boulder police were notified of an unlawful sexual contact that had just occurred in a home on the 1800 block of 22ndÌýStreet.

A woman was asleep in her bed when she awoke, at approximately 2:39 a.m., to a man touching her outside of her underwear. The suspect is described as a college-aged white male, approximately 6 feet tall with brown hair, a full beard and glasses. When the victim confronted the suspect, her boyfriend sleeping in the bed next to her also woke up and chased the man out of the home. There was no forced entry to the residence.

Boulder police have increased patrol in and around the Goss Grove neighborhood.
