Dean of University Libraries search committee seeks feedback on finalists

The three finalists for the dean of University Libraries visited campus recently to participate in interviews, open forums and other opportunities to meet with faculty, staff, students and the community. The search committee is seeking feedback from anyone who interacted with the finalists during their visits.

Along with a variety of other data points, this feedback will be considered carefully as part of the selection process.

To share your feedback on the candidates—Cinthya Ippoliti from Oklahoma State University, Scott Walter from DePaul University and Robert McDonald from Indiana University—please complete the surveys at the links below. You may share feedback on any or all of the candidates.

Ippoliti is the associate dean for Research and Learning Services at Oklahoma State University, where she leads the library’s academic liaison program and manages services for undergraduate and graduate students.

Scott Walter

Walter is the university librarian at DePaul University, leads strategic planning and transformative change in the areas of library services, collections, information technology and facilities, as well as library assessment, communications and advancement.

Robert McDonald

Robert McDonald

McDonald is the associate dean for research and technology strategies at the Indiana University, where he provides library information system and discovery services to the entire IU system.
