Want to see what it's like to describe a multi-year project in just three minutes? Stop by the UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom 3–5 p.m. for the Three Minute Thesis Competition, where graduate students will lay out the basics of their research to a panel of judges for a chance to win research funds.

Join the Environmental Center at 5:30 p.m.in HUMN 135for a viewing of the award-winning documentary Return of the River.The film covers thefight to set a river free ... and replenish the life and livelihoods supported by the beautiful Elwha. After the movie, there will be a discussion about local water issues and rights, and free food.
