UPDATE, 9 p.m., Feb. 7: .

At approximately 4:45 p.m., ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder sent an alert to campus after reports of a man involved in an off-campus assault. The suspect was seen heading toward campus. He was described as a white male with red hair, wearing black clothing and on a bicycle.

The university followed with a second campus alert at 5:15 p.m., sharing that officers had searched campus and the Boulder Creek Path area. There was neither a sign of the suspect, nor a threat on campus.

The ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Police Department advises: If you see something, say something. Call 911 if you observe suspicious behavior.

Emergency alerts are issued, upon confirmation, for an ongoing significant emergency or dangerous situation that poses an imminent threat to the safety of the campus.
