A campus emergency can happen at any moment. When it does, you will receive a text message warning you about the emergency as long as you have your contact information correct in MyƵInfo.

Today there are more and more mobile providers who use Wi-Fi over cell service for connectivity. We also know there are places around campus where the cell service is limited.

To cover that gap, Ƶ Boulder has added the Alertus smartphone app to the methods available to receive Ƶ Boulder Alerts. This free app uses Wi-Fi, rather than cell service, to receive the same emergency notification to your mobile phone or tablet.

    To get the Alertus app, follow three simple steps:

    1. Download “Alertus +” in your app store.
    2. Use our organization code “cuboulder.”
    3. Use your @colorado.edu, cu.edu, cufund.org, cusys.edu, or ucdenver.eduemail address to complete the registration process.
