Nov. 3 night game will bring national spotlight, parking and traffic impacts

On Thursday, Nov. 3, your No. 23 Colorado Buffaloes will be in the national spotlight as they host Pac-12 opponents UCLA on Fox Sports 1.

While minimal disruptions outside of those usually associated with gameday activities are anticipated, members of the campus community should review your main campus plans for the day and be prepared well in advance.

The campus community is encouraged to use alternative transportation rather than drive to campus on gameday. Several main campus parking lots will be closed beginning at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2 until approximately 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3.

Traffic set-up will prohibit all RTD bus service through main campus beginning at 3 p.m. Internal bus stops will be inaccessible to RTD routes during this time; these routes will be detoured to pick-up at stops along Broadway, Baseline, Arapahoe, and 28th Street. Additional information about parking and transportation changes has been shared via email and detailed on a website hosted by ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder Parking & Transportation Services.

Security measures in the stadium area are similar to past weeknight closures.

Kick off is set for 7 p.m. Those attending the game are urged to arrive at least one hour prior to kick off to avoid last-minute lines and to enjoy the Golden Buffalo Marching Band and the running of Ralphie.
