ATLAS Center for Media, Art and Performance presents the 13th annual premiere of the , dedicated to works that merge the beauty of dance with the innovations of cinematic art. Comprising 19 short films by local, regional and international artists, screenings on Friday and Saturday feature different programs. Looping video installations open at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 2 and Saturday, Sept. 3.

Conceived in 2003 by Michelle Ellsworth and Brandi Mathis, Sans Souci specializes in highly experimental, interdisciplinary dance cinema. Friday and Saturday screenings feature different selections of short films by artists from around the world. Sans Souci is supported by a grant from Boulder County Arts Alliance. These screenings are presented by Ƶ Boulder’s ATLAS Center for Media, Art and Performance, an incubator for the novel and experimental use of technology in music, dance, visual art, theater, film and new media.
