Ƶ-Boulder will be celebrating Oct. 15-18. Join in on the 101-year-old tradition of fun, reconnection and cheering for the Buffs as they take on the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday, Oct. 17.

What is Ƶ-Boulder's Homecoming tradition?

  • Homecoming is an opportunity for students, alumni, families and friends toreconnect and reminisce.Now in its 101st year, Homecoming is a week full of fun activities for all ages to enjoy, granting everyone the ability to engage with the university, learn more about its rich history and celebrate being a Forever Buff!

  • Students can celebrate Homecoming through a number of free activities including the Ƶ Yard Show, Homecoming Parade on Pearl Street and the Student Tailgate before the Homecoming football game against Arizona.

Did you know?

  • Homecoming is a 101-year-old tradition. On Nov.7, 1914, Ƶ-Boulder celebrated its first Homecoming featuring a football game against Utah which Ƶ won 33-0.
  • Ƶ has competed in football for 125 years, 91 seasons have been played at Folsom Field. This year, the Buffs face Arizona in the Homecoming game on Saturday, Oct. 17.
  • The Pearl Street Stampede has been the kickoff celebration for Ƶ home football games for the past 10 years.
  • The official hashtag of 2015 Homecoming is.

  • Tuesday, Oct. 13, 7 p.m., Glenn Miller Ballroom,Ƶ Yard Show.This annual event provides an opportunity for multicultural sororities and fraternities to showcase their organizations by stepping and strolling. The step and strolls are traditions of the multicultural Greek organizations that have been learned and performed throughout the country. Questions?   • Thursday, Oct. 15, 5:45 p.m., Glenn Miller Ballroom, Alumni Awards.The86th annual Alumni Awards Ceremony honors 12 outstanding alumni, faculty, staff members and students. for more information about the award ceremony, which is free for students.
  • Friday, Oct. 16, 7to 8:45p.m., Pearl Street Mall,HomecomingParade andPep Rally. With Ƶ’s national championship quarterback Darian Hagan serving as the grand marshal, the parade will start at 7 p.m. at the 1100 block of Pearl Street and head east,culminatingin a pep rally featuring Ƶ athletes and coaches on the courthouse lawn located between 13th and 14th streets on Pearl Street.
  • Saturday, Oct. 17, three hours before kickoff, Student Tailgate. The tailgate, which will include free food, inflatablegames and alive DJ will be held on Farrand Field.
