Gov. Roy Romer will deliver the keynote address at a special recognition ceremony for graduates of the University of Colorado School of Law on May 15 beginning at 2 p.m. in Macky Auditorium.
The governor earned his law degree from the ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ School of Law in 1952, and his son Tom is a member of this year's law school graduating class.
Justice Alex Martinez, who was appointed to the Colorado Supreme Court in 1996 by Gov. Romer, will receive the Honorary Order of the Coif.
Members of the media will be asked to show press credentials in order to attend. The event requires tickets and is not open to the public.
