The search committee charged with finding a new dean of the College of Business and Administration at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ-Boulder has announced five finalists for the position. The candidates, who will each visit the campus in April, are:

Andrew Bailey Jr., the Ernst and Young Distinguished Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Bailey is director of the Center for International Education and Research in Accounting and editor of the International Journal of Accounting. He received undergraduate and masterÂ’s degrees in accounting from the University of Minnesota and his doctorate at The Ohio State University. Campus visit is April 20-22.

Kim S. Cameron, the Ford Motor Co./Richard E. Cook Professor of Management and associate dean at the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University. He completed his undergraduate and masterÂ’s degrees at BYU and his doctorate in administrative sciences at Yale University. Campus visit is April 15-17.

Richard Durand, professor of marketing at the University of Maryland-College Park. Durand earned his M.B.A. and doctorate at the University of Florida. Campus visit is April 12-14.

Michael Hitt, who has a doctorate from ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ. Hitt is the Paul M. and Rosalie Robertson Chair in Business Administration at Texas A&M University. Campus visit is April 8-10.

Jerold L. Zimmerman is an Alumni Distinguished Professor at the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Rochester. Zimmerman has a bachelorÂ’s degree from ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ and a doctorate from the

University of California, Berkeley. Campus visit is April 29-May 1.

Members of the search committee include Harold Bruff, dean of the School of Law (chair); faculty representatives Betty Jackson, Sanjai Bhagat, Chris Leach, Dipankar Chakravarti, Steve Lawrence and Julio DeCastro; staff representative Kimberly Guihen; student representative Judith Goldberg; business community representatives Peter Behrendt, chairman, Exabyte, Inc., and Marcia Pryde, vice president, AT Kearney; and ex-officio members Bernadette Langbein, assistant to the vice chancellor for academic affairs, and Garnett Tatum, manager, Office of Affirmative Action and Services.
