  • A confidential place to voice, clarify and discuss university-related issues. Help to identify options to resolve disputes, a course of action and informal resolutions. 
  • Informal: Does not maintain records, adjudicate, arbitrate or participate in formal processes
  • Impartial: Ombuds consider the interests and concerns of all parties involved to achieve a fair and equitable outcome
  • Independent: Functions independent of management; talking with Ombuds staff does not constitute notice of any claims to the University of Colorado Boulder

  • Provides free, confidential counseling, advocacy, information and referrals for all ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ community members, students, graduate students, staff and faculty who have experienced a traumatic or life-disruptive event.
  • Specializes in current and past life-disruptive events including but not limited to crime, gender-based violence, experiences of bias, harassment, discrimination, abuse and violence.
