Chris Ewing

Chris Ewing's Resume

Chris Ewing is the interim Vice Chancellor for Infrastructure and Sustainability at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he manages over 12 million square feet of facilities and oversees an annual operating budget of $102 million. In this role, he is responsible for leading the Infrastructure and Sustainability team, which is responsible for long-range capital planning for the campus, architecture, design and construction, overall operations and maintenance of campus facilities and utilities, transportation services, workplace accident prevention and the creation of a safe working environment for campus employees, environmental health and safety, campus logistics and efforts around sustainability and resiliency.

Prior to his interim appointment, Ewing served as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Planning, Design and Construction. He joined ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder in 2008 as Project Administrator/Owner Representative, acting as a liaison between project design and construction teams and campus clients. Before joining ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder, he worked at Replidyne Inc., Growth Management Consulting, and Boulder Associates Architects.

Ewing has a bachelor’s degree in environmental design (architecture) from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Colorado State University. His interests include camping, hiking, travel, reading and spending time with his family.

Robert Robinson

Robert Robinson's Resume

Robert Robinson is Assistant Vice President for Facilities and Campus Services at Pomona College in Claremont, California. At Pomona, he oversees Facilities Management; Planning, Design and Construction Management; Energy Management and Sustainability; Emergency Management; Housing and Dining Services; Parking Services; Duplicating/Mailing Services and Conference/Event Services. He also serves as a liaison to the Board of Trustees. He oversaw creation of the Pomona College Capital Plan and subsequent Master Plan, and developed Campus Planning and Design Guidelines to serve as a planning tool for all campus construction.

Prior to Pomona, Robinson served in multiple facilities and operations leadership roles during a 14-year career at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. After serving as director of housing operations and then director of campus operations, Robinson spent his final two years as executive director of student housing where he oversaw Georgetown’s 5,000-bed student housing program. 

Robinson holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and master’s degree from Georgetown, as well as certificates in crisis management and educational management from Harvard University.
