Updates on New Title IX Federal Regulations

Has the current policy changed at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ?

  • The university has not yet made any changes to our current Sexual Misconduct, Intimate Partner Abuse and Stalking Policy or the OIEC Resolution Procedures in response to the new regulations. These policies and procedures remain in effect for any current reports or adjudications.
  • As always, the campus remains committed to ensuring a safe and non-discriminatory learning, living and working environment for everyone and we will continue to prioritize strong and effective prevention and response efforts for our campus community.

When will the new regulations go into effect?

  • We are reviewing the new regulations to determine what changes will need to be made to our policies and procedures to ensure compliance by August 14, 2020, and we’ll keep the campus apprised of our progress.
