Transfer Buffs LLC
The Transfer Buffs Living Learning Community (LLC) offers incoming transfer students the unique opportunity to live on campus and connect with students who have similar experiences as themselves. Students will participate in programming to help them maximize their academic and co-curricular experience at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder and integrate into the Transfer Buffs and ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder communities. Transfer Peer Mentors will provide incoming students with valuable resources and will facilitate community-building opportunities and events.

Cost
- There is no fee associated with the Transfer Buffs LLC.
Apply
- Fill out the Bear Creek waitlist housing application to be considered. Space is limited and offered on a first come, first serve basis.
Eligibility
- Incoming transfer students
- Incoming spring transfer students who are still in their first matriculated year are required to live in a university residence hall and are not eligible for the Transfer Buffs LLC
- Students interested in actively engaging with programming and building community with fellow transfer students
Program details
- Take FYXP 3000: Transfer Success Seminar, a 1-credit graded course to support a smooth transition to ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder. Topics include career exploration and development, academic advising, learning styles and study strategies, and more.
- Participate in monthly events and workshops, including National Transfer Student Week to discover campus resources, connect with faculty and staff, and leverage your previous experience to succeed at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder.
- Transfer Buffs LLC welcomes students from all backgrounds and academic interests. Engage in diversity, equity and inclusion programming to support your multiple identities and learn more about others.
