I became involved in the Taylor Lab via the Boulder Chickadee Study, where I worked as a field crew member throughout the summer of 2021. Currently, I am exploring variation in song between regional populations of black-capped and mountain chickadees, and how this may be affecting their hybridization. As a former major in Violin Performance at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ's College of Music, I am drawn to bioacoustics and zoomusicology. I am overarchingly interested in the implications of biologically-embedded music on the structure, function, and expressive nature of our music today.Â
