Scam Alert: Student Texted by USCIS Imposter
A ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ student recently reported receiving a text from someone pretending to be USCIS. The text message indicated that there are legal charges against the student and gave them a phone number to call about the issue.

Remember: USCIS or any other U.S. governmental agency would never send you a text regarding a case involving you unless you had already given them permission to do so in writing, such as on Form G-1145.
