The Faculty & Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) is dedicated to serving the emotional and psychological needs of the campus community. All FSAP staff are trained as generalist counselors and are equipped to deal with a wide range of personal and work related issues. You must be a 抖阴短视频 Boulder employee to use FSAP services, and services are free to all 抖阴短视频 Boulder faculty and staff members.

Please note, support series groups are not meant to take the place of therapy. If you are experiencing severe and persistent mental health issues please reach out to FSAP via our intake process.
Our Programs
Colorful Women is a process/support group for self-identified BIPOC women to connect, dialogue, celebrate and support each other鈥檚 whole authentic selves through an intersectional lens. Common themes鈥痙iscussed include, but are not limited to, stress management and mental health concerns, race, ethnicity, gender, empowerment, resiliency, interpersonal relationships, and professional adjustment and achievement. This space is often viewed as a 鈥渞eservoir,鈥 a safe, supportive, environment designed to unify BIPOC women to overcome challenges.

Work-Life Seminar | September & October
Exercise can do so much more for your body than simply work your muscles or improve your cardiovascular fitness. Too often we treat exercise as punishment when we can use it to elevate ourselves. Learn to relate to your body with kindness, improve your self-image, and develop sustainable, positive self-care behaviors with practical wellness tools that promote confidence and self-love. This workshop is hosted by FSAP in conjunction with our partners at Elevations Credit Union.

Wellness Workshop | September
As the new school year has come to a start, we acknowledge that we have gone through some major transitions in the past couple of years. In this hands-on workshop attendees will learn how to better manage transitions, whether it be professional or personal, and identify strategies to create an individualized plan to adapt and thrive during change.

Work-Life Seminar | September
At least 1/3 of back injuries could be prevented through a better designed workspace that fits individual stature and physical needs. In this seminar, you鈥檒l become more familiar with the most common injuries caused by a poor workspace set-up and tips on how to 鈥渇it鈥 your workspace to your body鈥檚 needs. You will learn how to establish proper body posture for your workspace desk, chair, monitor, keyboard, and mouse along with exercises you can perform at your desk to help reduce the chances of a workspace injury.

If you have trouble getting a good night鈥檚 sleep and have tried the usual techniques without success, it鈥檚 time to try something different. In this session, you will learn about tools to help you clear obstacles and find sleep solutions that work for you. This workshop is hosted by FSAP in conjunction with our partners at Elevations Credit Union.

Are you a new dad or expecting to be? Join us for a 4-week group over Zoom as we discuss and navigate topics like being a working parent, how to maintain connection with partners, engaging with your baby, coming to terms with the impact on personal independence, self-doubt, and other ideas generated from the group.

Work-Life Seminar | October
Most people focus exclusively on medical interventions to reach their goal of having a baby. However, the emotional impact is often neglected until the distress is greatly affecting their day-to-day life and relationships. By joining this group, you can learn how to manage difficult emotions and life challenges associated with your fertility diagnosis. Joining this group can offer a space where you can meet others who are in a similar situation, share in each other鈥檚 journey, and learn from each other鈥檚 experiences.

Let鈥檚 face it; stress is a component of life, but certain foods and habits can make everyday life stressors feel much worse and even make you sick. Learn how to plan meals to reduce stress on your body for more energy, better mood, less sugar cravings and the increased ability to handle daily ups and downs. Hint 鈥 it starts with breakfast! This workshop is hosted by FSAP in conjunction with our partners at Elevations Credit Union.

This presentation will be a book review discussing the essential, pragmatic, and necessary guide for women of color to become successful in the workplace. The Author, Minda Harts, rejects the 鈥渙ne-size fits all鈥 approach to becoming successful in the workplace, and speaks to the heart of the complexities that women of color face when attempting to secure a seat at the table.

While most of us would claim that we aspire to financial goals 鈥 home ownership, saving for retirement, putting kids through college 鈥 recent studies have shown that a large percentage of people between the ages of 25鈥40 are deeply in debt, living from paycheck to paycheck, and highly stressed about the direction of their financial lives. Attend this seminar to discuss ways to better control your finances. This workshop is hosted by FSAP in conjunction with our partners at Elevations Credit Union.
