Ƶ Boulder encourages applications for a Director of the Office of Contracts and Grants that serves as Assistant Vice Chancellor (AVC) for Research in a senior leadership capacity. The AVC collaborates directly with deans, directors, chairs, and principal investigators. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to ensure day‐to‐day operational excellence while bringing forward new and innovative ways of supporting research on the Boulder campus.

What We Require
- Baccalaureate degree.
- Minimum eight years of progressively responsible management experience within a sophisticated organizational setting.
- Minimum of five years of progressive supervisory responsibility supervising professional staff.
- Demonstrated experience in a research setting such as a major research university, institute, federal agency, or similar experience.
What We Would Like You To Have
- Advanced degree or professional certification in a closely related field.
- Active membership in research administration organizations such as COGR, NƵRA, and/or SRA International.
- At least three years of experience and demonstrated proficiency in developing, managing, and being responsible for diversity, equity, and inclusion planning.
- Demonstrated participation in professional development opportunities supporting required competencies, knowledge, and skills as described above
