5 ways to make it through November

Fall break is just around the corner, but it may feel far away. Here are some things to help you make it through the final stretch before we take off school for break.
Attend Feel Good Fridays
Attend a drop-in meditation that will help you reduce stress, relax and feel better. Students, grad students, staff and faculty are welcome to attend. Cushions are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring additional materials for personal comfort such as a yoga mat or a small pillow.Ìý Please arrive on time so the meditation is not disturbed.

Treat yourself to a massage or acupuncture
Did you know that Medical Services provides massage and acupuncture services for students? Both are a great way to relieve stress and built up tension in your body.

Sweat it out at The Rec
Shake it off and sweat it out every Friday during Free Friday Power Hour at the Rec Center. Classes rotate each week and are free to all students, grad students, staff and faculty.Ìý

Stop by Wellness Wednesdays
Taking a break between classes? Stop by Wardenburg to take a break and enjoy relaxing and mindful activities every Wednesday. These events are free to all students and grad students!Ìý

Take a mental health day
Sleep in, watch TV all day, don’t do any work, don’t respond to email and turn off your phone notifications.ÌýIf anyone asks, tell them you’re taking a day for your own mental health.
