Rachel Chai Wins Part-Time Instructor Award

Rachel Chai has been selected as a recipient of a Fall 2020 Graduate Part Time Instructor Appreciation Award. The Geography department nominated her for this award in recognition of how she has risen to the challenges presented by teaching during the pandemic. 

Rachel is a PhD student of Geography. She received an MA from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2017. Her interests include biogeography and entomology. She is advised by Tom Veblen, Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Geography. She is currently teaching GEOG1011-010, Environmental Systems: Landscapes and Water.
